Scopus Engineering, part of Amec Foster Wheeler, has appointed Neil Brady as managing director.

Brady is responsible for Scopus’ day-to-day operations and to drive continued delivery excellence whilst positioning for future growth.

Brady will also play a vital role in continuing to deliver the combined Scopus ‘tier 2’ lean approach with Amec Foster Wheeler’s proven More 4 Less lean techniques - scaling the engineering to meet the complexities of the project by providing integrated delivery processes to reduce costs. Efficiencies from this approach, delivered through Scopus, have demonstrated savings in time and cost compared to traditional approaches.

Brady said: “I’m delighted to be joining Scopus, an innovative and dynamic company which is focused on delivering efficiency savings for its customers. Scopus’ lean engineering capability, when coupled with its industry leading survey capabilities and an innovative fixed price commercial engineering model, has a proven track record of rapid cost effective execution of scopes and fit for purpose delivery. I feel we are in an excellent place to meet the current industry challenges and I’m excited by what Scopus brings to the market and will deliver in the future.”

Neil has over 15 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry having held a variety of positions, most recently as Business Manager for Wood Group PSN.
