Black Sea development takes step forward

Black Sea Oil & Gas (BSOG) has awarded Xodus Group a front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract for the development of the Ana and Doina discoveries in the Black Sea.

Xodus will work on the offshore and onshore facilities for the development of the Midia Gas Development Project, on XV Midia shallow block.

For the offshore portion, Xodus will provide the wellhead platform jacket at Ana, at about 70m water depth, receiving and supporting production from a subsea tie-back from Doina subsea well controlled through umbilical.

In addition to the in-field pipeline from the Doina subsea well to Ana wellhead platform (~18km) and offshore export pipeline from Ana wellhead platform to shore (~121km).

“With this award we take a major step forward in delivering this offshore gas development in Romania’s Black Sea with expectations that we will reach final investment decision in 2017,” Mark Beacom, BSOG CEO said.
