Aasta Hansteen is the world's largest Spar-platform, and will be the first in Norway.

The substructure is 200m-long, 50m in diameter and will weigh about 45,000-tonne.

This summer the final mega block weighing 4500-tonne was installed and the substructure reached its full shape.

The Aasta Hansteen platform is planned to come on stream in the Norwegian Sea late 2018.
