Bumi appoints ex-SBM exec as acting CFO

Bumi Armada’s chief financial officer (CFO) Kenneth Murdoch, will step down from his role on 17 November 2016. Pierre Savy has been nominated as the acting CFO and will start in his new role with immediate effect. Murdoch will support Savy during this transition period. 

Savy has been an integral part of the finance and project organization since May 2015 and brings a wealth of industry experience particularly in financial reporting, finance and internal controls. Prior to joining the company, Savy was the finance director of SBM Offshore in Kuala Lumpur, where he contributed to the implementation and performance of their operating center. Before SBM, Savy was the CFO of Technip Asia Pacific and was highly involved in the setting up and further development of Technip in APAC Region.
