Trendsetter Engineering has completed delivery of the subsea equipment for Noble Energy’s Gunflint project.

Trendsetter’s scope consisted of five subsea pipeline end termination (PLET) and inline sled (ILS) structures, three jumper kits, and all subsea connection system  components and tooling. The Gunflint development is a tieback to the Gulfstar I spar in the Gulf of Mexico.

All subsea equipment is designed and qualified for 15,000psi service with design, final assembly, and testing performed by Trendsetter in Houston, Texas. Manufacture of components was conducted in Houston, the UK, and Italy (gate valves supplied by Advanced Technology Valve). Trendsetter’s service and operations support team will continue work on the project throughout the offshore installation campaign.
