Anadarko shows its largest spar facility, Lucius.

In this video, Anadarko explains the process of Lucius and what it has taken to get the project to where it is today, including its 25-day journey to the Lucius oil field located in the Keathley Canyon Block, in the Gulf of Mexico.

First production at the field began in January, only three years after it was sanctioned. Its 80,000 boe/d design is currently being replicated for Anadarko’s Heidelberg spar as part of the company’s “design one, build two” approach.

The Keathley Canyon is estimated to hold more than 300 MMboe of recoverable resources.
