Petrobras selects DeepOcean for IMR services

DeepOcean Brasil Servicos Ltda., a subsidiary of DeepOcean Group Holding, has been awarded a one-year extension of contract for the provision of flexible repair and inspection, maintenance and repair services from Petróleo Brasileiro (Petrobras) using the Deep Endeavour.

Deep Endeavour is a multi-purpose subsea support construction and cable-lay vessel, with work class ROV, riser recovery and deployment system and more than 1600sq m deck space.

The vessel's track record includes ROV based subsea maintenance operations, saturation diving support, as well topsides construction support.

Deep Endeavour has already proven her performance in the Brazilian inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) market, and will maintain her special capability for repairing flexible pipelines and electro hydraulic control umbilicals.
