Saipem subsidiary awarded Caspian contract

Saipem, through its subsidiary ERSAI Caspian Contractor, has been awarded a major new engineering and construction contract in the Caspian region worth US$1 billion.

The contract scope includes yard engineering, fabrication and precommissioning activities, as well as the load-out of 55,000-tons of pipe racks.

The contract awarded to ERSAI is in consortium with Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co.
