Petrel Resources and Clontarf Energy have confirmed that an agreement has been reached with the Ghanaian authorities on the specific revised co-ordinates of the signed Petroleum Agreement on a license Block in the Tano area of Ghana.

The move was made after the two companies believed part of Tano 2a Block was to be awarded to a third party. This result in additional, contiguous acreage being added to the partner’s acreage to preserve the size of the block.

The license block is operated by Clontarf Energy (60%) with partners Petrel Resources (30%), acting as Pan Andean Resources, and the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation and the Government of Ghana (10%).
