DONG Energy released a video showing the installation of the Hejre jacket that occurred on 23 May 2014.

DONG Energy has installed the jacket for the Hejre platform in the Danish sector of the North Sea, 292km north west of Esbjerg, using Heerema Marine Contractor's Hermod heavy lift vessel

The 8400-tonne jacket arrived at its location, in 68m water depth, in the Danish sector of the North Sea on 22 May, and the last steel pile for fastening the legs of the support structure were rammed into the subsoil on Friday 30 May. Production well drilling is now due to start. First oil and gas is scheduled for 2016.

Hejre is estimated to contain about 170MM boe. The reservoir is 5000-600m deep, at 1010 bar and 160°C.
