Seven Arctic gets animated

Subsea 7 provides this animation of its new heavy construction vessel The Seven Arctic, which is under construction at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) in South Korea, and due for delivery in 2016. The newbuild subsea construction vessel comes equipped with a 325mt top tension Huisman vertical pipelay system, a 7000mt MAATS underdeck basket for storage of flexible pipe/umbilical and a newly designed 900mt Huisman rope-luffing knuckle-boom crane. Wärtsilä Ship Design Norway provided the preliminary design, while HHI will provide detailed design and construction.
