COSCO wins multi-vessel orders

COSCO subsidiary companies have picked up contracts to build four emergency response rescue field support vessels (ERRVs) and two platform supply vessels (PSVs). 

COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co. won the four- ERRV contract, from an Asian company, with delivery scheduled in the first half of 2016. 

COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard Co. won the two-PSV order from a European ship owner. They will be PX121 PSVs, with delivery expected in Q1 and Q2 2016. 

Additionally, the ship owner has an options for the construction of two similar PX121 PSVs. 

The contracts are valued at US$100 million in total, excluding owner-furnished equipment. COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co. and COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard Co are both subsidiaries of COSCO Shipyard Group, which is 51% owned by COSCO Corporation.
