All Coast to build new lifeboat

All Coast LLC, the largest liftboat operator in the Gulf of Mexico, has entered into a contract with SEMCO, LLC to construct a new 250 foot leg liftboat which will be equipped with two 175 ton leg mounted cranes and will have the capacity of accommodating 50 people.

The vessel is expected to be delivered in about 15 months, will carry a US flag, and will be named the Great White. With this new build, coupled with the L/B Barracuda, which is being enlarged and refurbished, the All Coast fleet will total 31 active vessels. Financing for this project has been led by Whitney Bank.
