The global launch of a significant new product line will be the key topic for discussion when Swire Oilfield Services brings its international team to AOG 2014 in Perth from February 19-21.

A number of senior executives from the UK and Singapore will travel to Perth to discuss current Australian growth plans and to launch the company’s innovative Track and Trace solution, OverVuTM.

Swire Oilfield Services' Australasian general manager, James Parsons, will be joined at AOG  by the company's UK-based COO, Richard Sell; the general manager, Track & Trace Solutions, Nick Coaton; and Singapore-based regional general manager, Asia Pacific, Troy Brice, at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre.

Swire Oilfield Services, which made its appearance in the Australian market in 2008, has invested millions in the Australasian region over the past two years, including the construction of a 20,000 sq m supply base at the Gap Ridge Industrial Estate in Karratha in Western Australia’s north-west.

Parsons said the company’s success and commitment to its customers has been demonstrated through securing long-term contracts, expanding operations in Darwin, Melbourne, New Zealand and the construction of the new operational support facilities in Karratha.

“Having identified Australia as a key strategic hub for the oil and gas industry in this region, Swire Oilfield Services has increased its sales and operations support team, established a dedicated customer service team and expanded its fleet considerably over the last few years,” Parsons said.

At the same time, local clients are being introduced to a number of new products and services including Swire Oilfield Services’ innovative OverVu track and trace solution.

“This solution will enable our customers to make better and more accurate business decisions that will save time and reduce operating costs by managing their assets more efficiently,” Parsons said.

“This will be achieved through the capture and processing of high fidelity real-time location-based data associated with and specific to each asset and contents. This yields enhanced business process analysis, warehouse and materials management and automated process monitoring.”

Parsons said developing innovative solutions enables Swire Oilfield Services to provide additional value in comparison to its competitors.

“That is the dynamism that we want to bring into the industry and we want our customers to understand that that is where we are going. We want to work with our clients to achieve their goals, and not just be seen as another supplier to them.”
