BGP completes Madagascar 2D survey

BGP's seismic vessel SRV Challenger has just completed a 2700 line-km 2D seismic survey for a major international oil company offshore Madagascar in early February 2014.

Within two years, BGP Challenger has acquired more than 21,986 km of 2D seismic survey offshore Madagascar.

China's BGP says the multi-streamer seismic vessel is outfitted with state-of-the-art seismic equipment including Sercel's Seal recording instrument, Sentinel Solid Streamers.

SRV BGP Challenger is capable of towing 1×12,000m streamer or 2x6000m streamers.
