EMAS AMC mulls listing

Singapore-based Ezra Holdings has said it is considering listing its subsea services division EMAS AMC in the US and has appointed J.P. Morgan Ltd. as an advisor.

Ezra said it was looking at strategic options, to increase its international profile and position of EMAS AMC.A listing is one of the potential options.

Lionel Lee, group CEO and managing director, said: “We have built a relatively strong foundation for EMAS AMC.

The fundamentals of the subsea industry are positive resulting in strong prospects for our subsea business in areas such as North America and Europe. We believe that it is timely for us to review our strategic plans for EMAS AMC as it develops its next phase of growth.”

Founded in 1992, EMAS provides marine, construction, production, and well services to oil, gas and renewable energy companies.

Its services are carried out across two groups, EZRA Holdings Ltd., which is listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, and EOC Limited, which is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
