Filanovsky topsides work starts

Astrakhan’s Krasnye Barrikady shipyard has started constructing the living quarter platform (LQP-2) for the second stage of Vladimir Filanovsky field developed by LUKOIL in the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea.

The shipyard will construct two bearing blocks, the topside of the LQP and a catwalk bridge to connect the LQP-2 and the ice-resistant platform (IRP-2).

The LQP-2 will accommodate 55 people and include a helicopter pad.The LQP-2 is to be commissioned in the autumn of 2016.
