Plexus nets ENI order down under

Tuesday, July 2, 2013

Engineering services firm Plexus Holdings has picked up its first order with Italy's ENI for work offshore Australia.

The contract, worth about £280,000, is with ENI's Australian subsidiary and is for the supply of 10,000psi POS-GRIP wellhead technology with mudline casing support and services, initially for one exploration well.

The contract includes an option which could add a further three wells, with an additional estimated value of £1 million.

The deal is the first for Plexus through a licensing, manufacturing, distribution, and agency agreement with Italyian firm Breda Energia.

The agreement granted Breda with exclusive rights to manufacture, rent, sell and service POS-GRIP exploration and production wellheads and other related POS-GRIP products exclusively to ENI.
