Atwood Eagle wins work off Australia

Atwood Oceanics, Inc. through one of its subsidiaries, has won a drilling services contract for the semisubmersible rig Atwood Eagle. This contract is for a term of 24 months and will be performed offshore Australia at a day rate of approximately $460,000.

The contract is expected to commence June 2014 in direct continuation of present operations. With the award of this contract, the firm contractual commitment for the Atwood Eagle is expected to extend to June 2016.
