GE Oil & Gas bolstered its Norwegian presence with two acquisitions in the space of ten days for its measurement & control business. The purchase of Oslo-based pressure, temperature and flow measurement solutions provider Presens was confirmed early August, followed by the acquisition of Naxys, a Bergen-headquartered provider of subsea leak detection and condition monitoring sensors based on passive acoustic technology.
