Total Extends Havila Shipping Contract

Havila Shipping ASA, a Norway-based company engaged in the provision of offshore industry services, said that the oil company Total E&P UK has awarded an extension for its platform supply vessel (PSV) Havila Commander.

According to a press note, the contract is in direct continuation of existing contract and will keep the vessel working for Total until mid April 2020.

The Havila Commander was delivered in June 2010 from Hellesøy Yard Løfallstrand, Norway. It is 85 meters long and 20 meters wide with 5,486 tonnes of deadweight.

The DNV GL classified vessel has 1,005 square meters of deck space and can accommodate 23 people.

Havila Shipping operates 23 vessels within subsea construction, anchor handling, platform supply and multi-field rescue recovery services.
