Apache Extends Solstad PSV Charter

Norwegian offshore service and supply ship shipping company Solstad Offshore said that UK-based Apache North Sea Limited has extended the charters of platform supply vessels (PSVs) Sea Flyer and Sea Forth.

According to the vessel owner, the contract extensions are one year firm plus options commencing January 2020, in direct continuation of the present contract.

The Vessels have been supporting Apache since January 2014, it said. This is in direct continuation of the present contract. Both vessels are built in 2013 by Zhejiang Shipbuilding in China.

Last week, Solstad Offshore announced that SBM Offshore has extended the charter for the CSV Normand Installer from an original 105 days commitment (reported August 2018) to a 1-year contract from January 2020, in direct continuation with present contract.

Solstad Offshore operates 50 vessels and two newbuilding CSV, including 19 construction service vessels, 22 anchor handling tug supply vessels and 9 platform supply vessels.
