Technip wins Petronas EPCIC off Malaysia

Petronas Carigali awarded Technip a subsea contract for the Samarang Redevelopment Project Phase 2 EOR, offshore Malaysia.

Under the terms, Technip will manage the engineering, supply, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of flexible pipelines, with diameters ranging from 4-6in, as well as EPCIC of associated platform I-tubes.

The contract will be executed by Technip’s operating center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and is scheduled for completion in Q3 2017.

Flexible pipelines for the project will be manufactured at Asiaflex Products, Technip’s manufacturing facility located in Tanjung Langsat, Johor, Malaysia. In addition, its vessels will be mobilized for installation works during 1H 2017.
