Badger Explorer appoints new CEO

Published

The board of directors of Badger Explorer (BXPL) has appointed Roald Valen as the new chief executive officer (CEO) in BXPL, succeeding Øystein Larsen, who will step down to pursue opportunities outside of BXPL. Valen will start in the position on 22 August 2016, and Larsen will continue to work for BXPL in a transition period.

“I had an active role in recruiting my successor, and I am confident that Valen will be a great resource for BXPL, given his broad experience from similar companies,” said Larsen.

Valen previously held positions in ABB Robotics, Robotic Drilling Systems and Zaptec, and has broad experience of managing and engineering advanced robotic solutions.

“I look forward to leading BXPL,” said Valen. “The company has taken significant steps lately, and I look forward to solving the remaining challenges together with the rest of the team.”
