Technip Oceania has awarded Perth-headquartered Neptune an air diving services contract for the Kitan field disconnection project in the Timor Sea.
The project includes the provision of air diving services to assist with the disconnection and abandonment of risers, mooring chains and the umbilical from the Glas Dowr floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.
“This is the second diving contract awarded to Neptune by Technip in recent months and we are pleased to continue to support Technip in the execution of their projects,” said Neptune’s CEO, Robin King
In January, the firm won diving work from Chevron Australia,for the facilities maintenance of various natural gas assets in Western Australia.
