Wood Group Mustang names new offshore president

Wood Group Mustang has promoted Kent McAllister to the position of president, Offshore Business Unit. He was previously executive vice president for the business unit.

McAllister has nearly 30 years of engineering experience, with more than 20 years of service in the oil and gas industry.  His executive leadership includes serving as vice president of Offshore Operations at Jacobs, vice president of Global Operations and Workshare at Wood Group Mustang, and vice president of the Offshore Business Unit at Alliance Wood Group Engineering, prior to its integration into Wood Group Mustang.

In the offshore industry, his responsibilities have spanned all phases of project execution, from conceptual through detail engineering and design to commissioning and post-start-up operations.  His offshore heritage is particularly strong in deepwater, having worked on projects such as the British-Borneo Morpeth and Allegheny TLPs, BP Horn Mountain spar, Enterprise Independence Hub semi-submersible, and the Noble Energy Tamar Platform Project.
