Louisiana-based LLOG Exploration Co. began production from the Delta House floating production system (FPS) in the Gulf of Mexico.

Delta House is located in Mississippi Canyon 254, about 130mi southeast of New Orleans, in 4500ft of water.
LLOG says it will continue to ramp up production in the coming months. However, the company did not specify current production rates.
The FPS’s development plan includes having eight wells online by the end of 2015. Delta House is designed for 100,000 b/d of oil and 240 MMcf/d of gas at peak production. Its initial production capacity is expected to be 80,000 b/d of oil and 200 MMcf/d of gas with a payload of 9300-tonne. LLOG says that the Delta House can accommodate up to 20 risers, up to nine fields with dual flowlines.
“First production at Delta House marks a significant milestone for LLOG. Not only do we expect to double our production when all of the wells come online this year, but we are proud to achieve a cycle time of about three years from first discovery to first production for an FPS development project, which is among the best in the Gulf of Mexico,” Scott Gutterman, LLOG president and CEO said.
Previous to Delta House, LLOG brought its first FPS online, the Who Dat, which began production in 2011.
“With continued development at Who Dat and Delta House coupled with five additional exploratory wells, 2015 stands to be a transformative year for production and reserve growth at LLOG,” Gutterman said.
In December, InterMoor completed the installation and hook up of the permanent mooring system for the Delta House. The company designed, fabricated, and installed 12 suction pile anchors, in addition to 12 preset chain/polyester mooring lines and hooked up the FPS in 4450ft of water.

Who Dat
LLOG’s Who Dat is a deepwater oil and gas development also located in the Gulf of Mexico at 3000ft water depth.
According to LLOG, the field currently produces from eight wells and flows to the company’s Opti-Ex floating production facility on location at Mississippi Canyon block 547. The Who Dat field is primarily oil and consists of nine stacked amplitude-supported reservoirs in a salt withdrawal mini-basin. The wells targeted reservoirs ranging in depth from 12,000-17,000ft total vertical depth. Collectively, the eight wells penetrated over 700ft of net pay in nine distinct reservoirs.
As of December 2014, production is at 32 MMb/d of oil and 42 MMcf/d of gas, with a development program in place of three additional wells.
