Keppel ready to deliver 3rd jackup to Jindal Group

Keppel FELS Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd., is ready to deliver the Jindal Explorer, a KFELS B Class jackup drilling rig to Star Drilling Pte. Ltd., an associate company of India’s D P Jindal Group (Jindal).

The Jindal Explorer is the 11th rig in India and the third for Jindal. It is tailored to meet the unique requirements of offshore India’s harsh environment, bearing pressure and rig geometry. The jackup is capable of operating in water depths of 350ft and drilling to 30,000ft.
