Panyu 34-1/35-1/35-2 is located in the Pearl River Mouth basin in a water depth range of 195-338m.
CNOOC’s project consists of three gas fields: Panyu 34-1, Panyu 35-1 and Panyu 35-2. The main production facilities include one comprehensive platform, two sets of underwater production systems and 13 producing wells.
Currently, there are two wells producing approximately 21MMcf/d of natural gas, with the project expecting to complete its overall development plan designed peak production of approximately 150MMcf/d in 2015.
CNOOC holds 100% interest in the independent project, Panyu 34-1/35-1/35-2.
In August, CNOOC began production at its Wenchang 13-6 oilfield, located west of the Pearl River Mouth basin, offshore the Western portion of the South China Sea. The main production facilities include one wellhead platform and 12 producing wells. There are currently five wells producing approximately 1300bbl/d.
In July, CNOOC began production in both their Panyu and Lishui gas fields. Both fields are also located in the Pearl River Mouth basin.
CNOOC’s Panyu 10-2/5/8 project contains three oilfields, the Panyu 10-2, Panyu 10-5 and Panyu 10-8, with an average water depth of 100m. CNOOC says that the four connected wells are producing approximately 9000b/d, with an expected peak production of 13,000b/d by 2015.
The Lishui 36-1 has an average water depth of approximately 84m and also has four production wells. Its primary production facilities include a comprehensive platform and a processing terminal
CNOOC holds 100% in the Panyu project. CNOOC is the operator of Lishui and holds a 51% interest with partners Primeline Energy China (36.75%) and Primeline Petroleum Corp. (12.25%).
