Swissco acquires four more rigs

Published

Singapore’s Swissco completed the acquisition of four additional mobile offshore drilling units, bringing their rig fleet to eight.

Swissco’s previous four rigs have contracts for an oil major in Latin America worth approximately US$94.8 million for up to two-year terms.

These latest activities have allowed Swissco to gain momentum in the upstream business.

In a span of about two months, Swissco says they’ve acquired the rig business of Scott and English Energy Pte Ltd. to double their rig count.
