Ceona, a SURF and heavy subsea construction contractor, announced it has appointed Jean-Luc Laloë to its advisory committee.
With over 35 years of experience in the offshore engineering and construction industry, Jean-Luc Laloë has assumed a variety of positions in areas such as engineering, project management, marketing and sales, finance, human resources, legal, strategic planning, and general management at Coflexip, which became CSO by merger with Stena Offshore (subsequently absorbed by Technip).
Later, Laloë was appointed Senior VP for Strategy and M&A at Stolt Offshore, which became Acergy and merged with Subsea 7 in 2011. He is a graduate engineer in aeronautical and space engineering, and has lived and worked in France, the USA, the UK, and in Brazil.
