Oceaneering wins Jangkrik umbilicals contract

Houston based, Oceaneering has secured a contract from FMC Technologies Singapore Pte Limited, to supply umbilicals for the Jangkrik project located in the Muara Bakau PCS (Production Sharing Contract) area off the coast of Indonesia.

The order is for super-duplex steel tube production control umbilicals, with a total combined length of approximately 31 miles (50km). These will be used to supply hydraulic and electrical power and chemical injection to the subsea wells in the field.

Product manufacturing will be performed at the Oceaneering Umbilical Solutions facility in Rosyth, Scotland beginning in 4Q 2014, with delivery scheduled for 2Q 2016.
