Pemex job for Oleg Strashnov

Seaway Heavy Lifting (SHL) has won a contract with Permaducto SA de CV for an offshore installation project in Mexico. 

Under the contract, SHL will execute work offshore Mexico in a joined offshore program for Pemex’s KuMaZa/Cantarell project. 

SHL's crane vessel Oleg Strashnov (pictured) will be used for the installation of decks and a jacket in the first quarter of 2014. 

The Oleg Strashnov has a 5000-tonne revolving crane and DP3 capabilities. 

SHL said the project will be the first time the Oleg Strashnov has visited the Gulf of Mexico since it started operations in April 2011 (OE Magazine, March 2011).

Permaducto SA de CV is a company of Grupo Protexa SA de CV.

Seaway Heavy Lifting is a Subsea 7 Joint Venture company, based in Cyprus.
