To underline its commitment to the energy sector and to support the company’s rapidly growing offshore oil and gas business, Yokogawa announces the opening of new North Sea headquarters in Aberdeen, Scotland.
The new 500m2 office is based in Westhill, Aberdeen, and represents a significant increase in the amount of space the company now has available. As well as office and demonstration space, facilities are now available for Technical Services and state-of-the-art training and development facilities for clients and operators.
“The opening of the new offices is a further commitment by Yokogawa to this extremely important marketplace.” says Ged Kelly, who will head up the Yokogawa team in Aberdeen. “Yokogawa is committed to helping the offshore operators enhance their operation through the provision of both products, engineering and asset support services.”
Yokogawa’s recent contract wins include a major order from GDF Suez E&P UK Ltd to supply the integrated control and safety systems (ICSS) for its prestigious new Cygnus Development Project.
There will be an official opening of the new offices on Wednesday, May 1st 2013.
