Aquatic Engineering & Construction Ltd, an Acteon company, is delighted to announce the appointment of Jenny Bamford as vice president commercial and part of its senior leadership team.
Bamford is an experienced business professional and brings with her exemplary project management and commercial skills having worked in both the telecoms and the offshore oil and gas industries. Her remit is to provide commercial leadership governance and strategic direction to the global business.
“Jenny’s arrival enables us to develop Aquatic further and strategically position it for the cultural shift required to become a truly global business,” said Chris Brooks, president of Aquatic Engineering & Construction Ltd. “She brings commercial insight and the opportunity to encourage sound decision making by enabling and empowering people within Aquatic to make good business decisions. This new approach aims to make our commercial teams much more responsive; this will reap dividends for our customer base in the future. I am looking forward to working with her as we respond to industry challenges ahead.”
“Following the acquisition of a majority interest in Acteon by KKR (Kohlberg Kravis Roberts) earlier this year, Aquatic is now even better positioned to deliver against its ambitious international growth plans,” said Brooks. “We are strengthening our leadership and management teams, as well as expanding our equipment fleet, in order to achieve this.”
Bamford joins Aquatic in time to attend the Offshore South East Asia 2012 (OSEA2012) Conference and Exhibition in Singapore (27–30 Nov.), where she will be also taking the opportunity to get to know the team at Aquatic Asia Pacific Pte Ltd and its client network.
