Dolphin Geophysical wins survey off S. Africa

Anadarko has struck a deal with Dolphin Geophysical for a 2D seismic survey offshore South Africa, Dolphin announced on 7 November 2012.

Dolphin Geophysical will utilize its Artemis Atlantic vessel to acquire data over an 6,250km area. The survey is slated to begin December 2012. The contract is the company's second in South Africa.

The contract's value was not disclosed.

In August, Anadarko finalized a farm-in deal on 80% of PetroSA's offshore blocks 5/6 and 7. Anadarko will serve as operator on both blocks.
