Corallian Spuds Wick Well

Private U.K. oil and gas exploration and appraisal company Corallian Energy reported that drilling of the Wick exploration well (11/24b-4) commenced on Tuesday offshore the U.K.

Corallian is exploration operator for Licence P2235 with 40 percent interest. Other licence partners include Baron Oil (15 perrcent), Corfe Energy (5 percent) and Upland Resources (40 percent).

The Ensco-72 jack-up drilling unit will be on location for approximately three weeks, after which it will be mobilized from the Moray Firth to the English Channel to drill the Colter well.

Fraser Well Management Limited is the well operator for the drilling.
