Houston based Trendsetter Engineering said it has finished building a range of subsea production equipment for Noble Energy’s Leviathan Project, a large natural gas field under development in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Israel.
Trendsetter said its work scope lasted over two years and included the design and construction of multiple clamp connection systems, subsea distribution equipment, MEG filter modules, 2” connection systems and subsea manifolds.
Dutch offshore services provider Jumbo will transport the equipment to the Eastern Mediterranean.
The Leviathan Field, which holds around 22 trillion cubic feet of gross recoverable resources, is located in the I/14 Leviathan North and I/14 Leviathan South leases, approximately 125 kilometers west of Haifa, Israel, and 35 kilometers west of the Tamar field in the Levantine Basin. Water depth ranges from 1,600 to 1,750 meters.
Noble Energy said the Leviathan field is on track for first production by the end of 2019.
