well completion solutions provider Reactive Downhole Tools announced MOnday it has appointed Niall Urquhart as VP Eastern Hemisphere.
Urquhart brings to the position more than 10 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, including project engineer for Baker Hughes, and regional sales manager - Middle East for Interwell.
Mike Allen, Chief Executive Officer of Reactive, said, “The Middle East continues to be a pivotal region for Reactive and remains central to our global growth strategy. Niall has been instrumental in establishing an excellent reputation in the area for us over that last four years, both as regional business development manager and general manager.
“Reactive has been awarded a number of significant contracts within the region, and we are firmly focused in order to meet the increasing needs of our clients, ensuring we service them to the optimum degree. Niall is a fundamental part of that activity.”
The appointment follows the firm’s recent investment of $2 million into its Abu Dhabi-based production facility to support the contracts secured.
