Worley Wins Rhode Island OWF Contract

Denmark's offshore wind giant Ørsted has awarded WorleyParsons a core role in its Revolution Wind project, which will see the design and installation of a 700-megawatt offshore wind farm, located 15 kilometers south of the Rhode Island coast.

“This project award builds on a previous Ørsted Framework Agreement win, further solidifying our strong and ongoing partnership with this customer and our presence in the US market,” said Eoghan Quinn, Global Wind Lead, Worley.

Worley said there is a strong customer focus to utilize of its US-based resources for this project. The company will deliver and coordinate the project from its Reading, Pennsylvania, Power Center of Excellence, employing a team of specialists from across the Worley organization, it said.
