Australian-based engineering firm Worley said it has entered into a 50:50 joint venture with Brazilian services company Enaval.

The new joint venture, Worley Enaval (WE) Integrated Solutions, combines Worley’s global engineering and brownfield capabilities with Enaval’s fabrication services and facilities to provide brownfield engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and maintenance, modifications and operations (MMO) services from concept to closeout to the Brazilian oil and gas industry.

The WE Integrated Solutions team has been awarded a brownfield subsea tieback contract by a Brazilian oil and gas exploration and production company. WE Integrated Solutions will deliver engineering services, integral to the increased production of an existing floating production storage and offloading unit (FPSO), directly from the joint venture's offices and fabrication facilities in Rio De Janeiro.
