Services firm Wood said it has been awarded a contract with Apache to provide commissioning services to the Beryl Alpha, Beryl Bravo, and Forties Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta platforms located in the UK North Sea.
Apache will leverage Wood’s internally developed online completions management system for construction and commissioning, GoTechnology hub2, as the exploration and production company transitions from traditional paper-based completions to a fully digital route.
Hub2 is the latest generation of Wood’s GoTechnology family of online, web-accessible completions and commissioning management solutions.
According to Wood, hub2 provides the capability for managing all elements of the completions process. Every element can be visualized and reported on in real time, and the solution is supported by mobile apps for offline usage and offers integration with third party tools such as engineering data warehouses, project planning tools and maintenance management systems, the company said.
