Impact Subsea releases ISD4000 sensor

Impact Subsea has launched the ISD4000, a survey grade depth and temperature sensor with optional integrated HMRU.

The sensor measures full scale depth with 0.01% accuracy, temperature with accuracy within 0.01°C, and can be supplied with an integrated HMRU, which provides with heading, pitch and roll values.

Designed for ROV and AUV underwater applications, the ISD4000 unit is 3.1in (8cm) long, 1.8in (4.5cm) wide and weighs 0.93lb (0.42kg) in air. In addition, the ISD4000 uses under 40mA of power at 24VDC, and is housed in a titanium housing with an industry standard connector.

The ISD4000 compliments Impact Subsea's ISA500. Combined, the pair provide the user with altitude, depth, temperature, heading, pitch and roll. All values can be displayed in a software interface or output to a third party system.
